South Holden Simmentals joined the Canadian Simmental Association in 1982. We purchased some of our first Simmental cattle from breeders such as SimRocSimmentals, Little Pipestone Ranch and a package of the last Dick Staudingers purebreds from MFL Simmentals.

We have used AI heavily to source new genetics. We run about 85 purebred Simmentals using red and black genetics. We sell bulls at the Place Your Bet Bull Sale in Veteran, Alberta every March. We also consign to the Myrnm Mixed Breed Bull Sale which is held the middle of April South Holden females sell at Transcon's Ultimate Red and Black Sale in Red Deer and the new and exciting Camrose Classic Female Sale.

We are located south of Holden, Alberta and look forward to talking cattle at anytime.
